I believe the money I make belongs to me and my family, not some midlevel governmental functionary with a bad comb-over who wants to give it away to crack addicts squirting out babies.
I don't care about appearing compassionate. I think playing with toy guns doesn't make you a killer. I believe ignoring your kids and giving them Prozac might. I think I'm doing better than the homeless. I don't think being a minority makes you noble or victimized.
I have the right not to be tolerant of others because they are different, weird or make me mad. This is my life to live, and not necessarily up to others expectations. I know what *** is and there are not varying degrees of it. I don't celebrate Kwanzaa. But if you want to that's fine; I just don't feel like everyone else should have to.
I believe that if you are selling me a Dairy Queen shake, a pack of cigarettes, or hotel room you do it in English. As of matter of fact, if you are an American citizen you should speak English. My uncles and forefathers shouldn't have had to die in vain so you can leave the countries you were born in to come disrespect ours, and make us bend to your will. Get over it.
I think the cops have every right to shoot your sorry butt if you're running from them after they tell you to stop. If you can't understand the word 'freeze' or 'stop' in English, see the previous line. I don't use the excuse "it's for the children" as a shield for unpopular opinions or actions. I know how to count votes and I feel much safer letting a machine with no political affiliation do a recount when needed.
I know what the definition of lying is, and it isn't based on the word "is"-ever. I don't think just because you were not born in this country, you qualify for any special loan programs, gov't sponsored bank loans, etc., so you can open a hotel, 7-Eleven, trinket shop, or any thing else, while the indigenous peoples can't get past a high school education because they can't afford it.
I didn't take the initiative in inventing the Internet. I thought the Taco Bell dog was funny. I want them to bring back safe and sane fireworks. I believe no one ever died because of something Ozzy Osbourne, Ice-T or Marilyn Manson sang, but that doesn't mean I want to listen to that crap from someone else's car when I'm stopped at a red light. But I respect your right to.
I think that being a student doesn't give you any more enlightenment than working at Blockbuster or Jack In The Box. I don't want to eat or drink anything with the words light, lite or fat-free on the package.
Our soldiers did not go to some foreign country and risk their lives in vain and defend our Constitution so that decades later you can tell me it's a living document ever changing and is open to interpretation. The guys who wrote it were light years ahead of anyone today, and they meant what they said - now leave the document alone, or there's going to be trouble.
I don't hate the rich. I help the poor. I know wrestling is fake. I've never owned, or was a slave, and a large percentage of our forefathers weren't wealthy enough to own one either. Please stop blaming me because some prior white people were idiots - and remember, tons of white, Indian, Chinese, and other races have been enslaved too - it was wrong for every one of them.
I believe a self-righteous liberal Democrat with a cause is more dangerous than a Hell's Angel with an attitude. I want to know exactly which church is it where the "Reverend" Jessie Jackson preaches; and, what exactly is his job function.
I own a gun, you can own a gun, and any red blooded American should be allowed to own a gun, but if you use it in a crime, then you will serve the time. I think Bill Gates has every right to keep every penny he made and continue to make more. If it makes you mad, then invent the next operating system that's better and put your name on the building. Ask your buddy that invented the Internet to help you. I don't believe in hate crime legislation. Even suggesting it makes me mad.
You're telling me that someone who is a minority, gay, disabled, another nationality, or otherwise different from the mainstream of this country has more value as a human being than I do as a white male. If someone kills anyone, I'd say that it's a hate crime. We don't need more laws! Let's enforce the ones we already have.
I think turkey bacon, turkey beef, turkey fake anything sucks. I believe that it doesn't take a village to raise a child-it takes a parent with the guts to stand up to the kid and spank his butt and say "NO!" when it's necessary to do so. I'll admit that the only movie that ever made me cry was Ole Yeller.
I didn't realize Dr. Seuss was a genius until I had a kid. I will not be frowned upon or be looked down upon or be made to keep silent because I have these beliefs and opinions. I thought this country allowed me that right. I will not conform or compromise just to keep from hurting somebody's feelings. I'm neither angry nor disenfranchised, no matter how desperately the mainstream media would like the world to believe otherwise. Yes, I guess by some people's definition, I may be a bad American. I love Ted Nugent, I really do, simply because he has the balls to go out and speak his mind, in a time where doing so is liable to get enough shrapnel to build a Chevy Suburban out of from one side or another. However, just like him, doesn't mean I have to totally agree with his message...so I'm going to exercise my similar rights and pick this apart...

Yeah, because everyone on Medicare is a low-life scumbag, with no initiative and no desire to get their fat ass up off the couch when they can live in the extreme comfort provided by the feds.:roll: Of course there are those people, but any system is bound to be exploited...you gonna tell me we gotta stop having systems all together? Stop bitching about leaches and do something about them instead of cutting aid off to those who are honestly trying to get by, and need a little ****in' help. And of course, this is slightly hypocritical, because I too get pissed at seeing how much the feds take outa my paycheck...but I don't make enough to offset the loss...and they give me it all back...now ain't that nice?

I agree with this in principle too, because I don't think if 500,000 Americans moved into France right this second they'd like it if we started insisting they have a command on English, simply for our benefit. However, I do believe in the importance of knowing other languages...and unfortunately the best time is when you're a kid. You believe the government has the right to impose my theory? Yes, or no, that's a matter for debate, but I also agree I shouldn't have to know 12 languages just to provide proper service in a McDonalds.

Actually Ted, they did, our soldiers fight for, at least in part, for our ideals as a nation. This includes protection of the first 10 Ammendments, the first of which allows you to bitch and moan to the top of your lungs about the problems with the rest. Whatever the constitution is or isn't, it damn well sure protects one's right to debate it. That's the problem, the 1st Ammendment is 10x more problematic than the 2nd. Conservatives believe it doesn't exist, and liberals think it was created only for them to use. Its there, it allows people to be right or wrong in your opinion to the the top of their lungs...Ted GET USED TO IT! Welcome to America...

Again, except for my general belief in a certain level of government that requires taxes to function, I think Bill Gates is entitled to his fortune...because hate Microsoft or not, I'm running windows, and I can be angry all I want, as long as, I don't expect it to change anything. The rest of that is good in my book too.

You can't help but agree with that...yeah, that's what we need, more divisions in society...aren't we trying to bring everyone together?
So, before all of you who don't like me hacking into any of Ted's shotgun toting, keyboard shooting, ranting (which like it or not that letter is, to a ****in' T), realize that I'm doing what he's doing. I'm speaking my mind with total disregard for the opinions of others, because I believe they have the right to have them, just not force me to share them. For the most part, people like me and Ted are on the same page (except for a little social and economic theory), and we believe America is what it is, because its what you make of it...and you can live your life, without telling other people how to live theirs.

maybe hes talking about welfare, not medicare. case in point, if you crank out four kids the state gives you money to raise each and every one of them until you get a job then it cuts back according to your income. if you never get a job, the state gives you money regardless of how dum you are in cranking out kids. also WELFARE pays the kids MEDICARE so you double abuses across the board bleeding into one another. dont even get me started on this. i have watched so many crack head parents pump out kids to live off them and treat them like crap. the welfare system needs some very simple yet very effective overhauls that would in turn solve a few "medicare" problems. whether ted was talking about the system as a whole or what he actually said about a specific abuse is in question.

well heres the problem with that and its what ted is saying, the constitution is debated constantly because of high power interests. when a definition of the constitution is firmly established legally, down the road that is again open to interperation because interests have changed and would like the constitution to be bent for thier high powered interests.
it has never been a case of "correct" interpretation but of interests needing the constitution to change to advance thier wants over the peoples. why is it that when something is firmly established as to what the constitution meant that we cannot keep that notion? because power changes and so do the people so the constitution is bent to the "times".
if no one can settle on the meaning of the constitution then is the constitution a referee in a never ending fight which can be bought off and changed at anyones whim? basically, hes tired of the power games people play with the constitution. sure, debate is debate, why dont we get together and put together a new constitution to forever stand so someone 200 years down the road can tear it down and do it all over.

I agree with alot of what Ted has to say, but not this. The Constitution is a living document. Our fore fathers created that way, so it could be amended. It was also designed to be open to interpretation so it could be adapted for the time we live in. I'm a soldier and fight to defend that Constitution, but realize that if the rightly elected legislature changes it and has the approval of the American people, then my duty is to defend that new version.
"All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. " - this is the 14th amendment to the US constitution
I love Ted, but I wish he would explain to me how this passage is not in need of interpretation. What does equal protection mean if not that laws must apply equally to every citizen? You tell me. By the way, if it is not a living documetn how come we can amend it? Think about it, Ted.
