NORTHERN IRAQ -- A suicide bomber struck this truck on Nov. 30, 2004 killing seven and injuring 20 more. Miraculously, the three Airmen inside the vehicle emerged with only minor injuries. (U.S. Air Force photo)

Yeah!... and look closely to the front section of the truck.... looks like no dents,,, just a dirt from smoke... nice armor huh...

I don't think that would be as well protected as tne original truck. The miniguns would need space to rotate/transverse; space that any explosive/ied could get through.

still I've heard the hummer kits dont do much at all, the IED's are often too heavy to defend against, it either rips the vehicle apart, or throws it around and crushes it

geuss not, it was an attempt to lower casualties from them though, the kits block shrapnel and small arms, but i dont think even an abrams could survive a 120mm shell going off under it
