The latest article states:

The operation was started by Mujahideen who were on motorcycles, throwing grenades at the enemy military vehicles and quickly jetting off to a safe location, from where they would join in the second attack by other Mujahideen who were firing rockets and machine gun fire at the occupation force.

In this operation Mujahideen were able to destroy two US military jeeps, one military truck and three military tanks, killed six US solders and wounded seven, also killed eight US puppet karzay militants and wounded four, two mujahid were captured by the enemy, The Unjust Media reported.

Hmmm....

Survey says!?!?!

The latest videos at Kavkaz is a little contraproductive since they don't exactly show any success when those missions are carried out. A shaky camera is filming Chechens firing at some dots far away (without hitting anything probably), and I especially love when they use the 40 mm UGL's as mortars delivering indirect fire, you can hear the booms when they land and detonate but if they hit anything? Well I guess we will never get to know that.

Someone needs to pull the plug on Kavkaz Center.

As far as I know the server is located in Finland, and as a western democratic state Finland has laws against preaching against jews and so forth, Kavkaz doesn't break the law and is thus allowed, just "pulling the plug" because some people doesn't like the content doesn't belong in a democracy as Finland. However the Finnish security police apparently made a visit to the server hotels owner and said that it was not "appropriate" after;

The shut-down of the Chechen rebels' Kavkaz Center website, operating out of Finland, was demanded by the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov, while on an official visit to Iran. According to the Finnish Security Police, Lavrov's outcry came slightly late, as the proprietor of the website had already blocked its content.
In an acrimonious tone, Lavrov made it clear that Finnish authorities should understand how publishing the results of terrorist activities could not be permitted.
According to the news agency Interfax, Lavrov said Russia had approached Finland in the form of a pertinent diplomatic note concerning the matter.
"We hope Finland will recognise the unlawfulness of providing those inducing terrorist actions with an information channel to promote their activities", Lavrov said.
On Monday Finland was also rebuked in a Russian Duma debate over the existence of the Kavkaz Center website on a server in Finland

But since it was not illegal and since Russia usually have opinions about most things TeliaSonera allowed them to continue having their content on their server. Similar pressure from Moscow led to Lithuania closing Kavkaz down earlier. TeliaSonera has commented that it can only shut down the site if the Finnish authorities request it, and the authorities will not request it as long as the law is followed.

if it was that easy they would of stopped all the spam, child **** and fake company sites. Most of these websites are hostedin eastern europe and getting to the tech support people is nearly impossible and if you do they do not cooperate. They need the money.

As I wrote above it's hosted by TeliaSonera, they don't "need the money", since they are one of the largest companies in northern Europe and have millions of customers. They are not closed down because they follow the law, to write funny articles is not a crime, most tabloid newspapers makes up lies everyday and even get away with selling the lies to people. TeliaSonera does block sites, like child ****ography and so forth because these obviously do break the law.

The server was located in Finland for a very short time back in 2004, but it was moved elsewhere when the Finnish Security Police "asked" the service provider to shut it.

Are you saying that TeliaSonera hosts them again?!

No. The server was located in Finland for a very short time, it was moved elsewhere in October 2004 when the Finnish Security Police "asked" the service provider to shut it.

Hm, yes after looking for information I see you are right now. However it is a Finnish businessman that is still behind the site, and there was nothing against the law having it in Finland, but finding hosts that wanted to store the contenct on their servers turned out to be too difficult because they were afraid of negative publicity. The businessman rents a server in Sweden now.

Are you saying that TeliaSonera hosts them again?!

Possibly, TeliaSonera has commented with that it's not illegal. But I find conflicting reports about it being in Sweden and Finland. If someone could ping (or whatever it's called) Kavkaz and find out in which country it is it would be nice.

How about someone do the same to kavkaz? I mean, its mainly anti-russian, but Americans and Russian are allies in this war, bottom line.
