Clark was never a "real" candidate to begin with. He began too late, had too little money, and he could not decide if he was a Republican or Democrat.
Good riddance and see you in the funny papers.

I think he was really a republican riding the wave of anti-americanism to squeeze his way into office. Unfortunately it didnt help him.
Bush will win.
Democrats are merely voting for the person they want to lose.
People think more people support the democrats. Its not true. The democrat people just bitch far louder than the silent majority who support bush.
Me, i personally wish Colin Powell would run for president. A Race between Powell and Bush...that would be tight- id probably vote for Colin though.

I didnt think that Clark was going to stay in the race long. I also think that Bush will win.

Id much rather have an average Joe, or in Clarks case, an average GI Joe in office, than a sneaky politician of the likes of Dean, Kerry or Edwards.

what do you think of Blair? Have you ever seen him debate in parliament?

Bush is a career politician, the son of another career politician, the brother of a career politician...and oh yeah, a multi-millionaire oil baron. And Cheney is about as much of an "Average Joe" as Bill Gates. Just for the record.
If you want an "average joe" in office, Edwards would probably be your best bet. Born poor, and less background in politics than any other serious candidate. He's certainly closer to an "average joe" than Bush or Cheney is.

One day I will run for POTUS. Oh yes.
I will get myself elected as a Republican or Democrat, then renounce my party affiliation and become an independent immediately upon my inauguration.
After that, I will throw a huge party at the White House for all my friends here at militaryphotos.net. All of you. I will even offer some of you jobs in my administration.

Can I be the "evil Zionist conspirator pulling your strings from the shadows" who neo-Nazis and leftist-anarchists whine and shout about?

Yes the now obligatory "Zionist conspirator"© that comes with every Presidency, you will have to put a lot of ground work into this one Starving Student a few high profile cases against neo-nazis and militia types when you get to be DA will help and don't forget to form a working relationship with some media moguls.
Hold up - Edwards is no average Joe - he is a slick and polished plaintiff's litigator - as such he should be viewed with much skepticism. Not to mention that he is several times over a millionaire - that ain't average.
Plaintiff's lawyers serve a purpose - but i am always wary of people who want to help me but want their compensation tied to how much my claim is worth. I know it is necessary but I don't have to like it. Edwards makes me nervous - he reminds me of Clinton - what do we really know about him? Not enough if you ask me.
Anyway, what is so good about average Joe - to succeed in Washington and get anything done you have to play the game. Hell, look at Clinton, he came in as an outsider and sold himself that way, but when he got in it was the same old crap. It never changes - the ones who CAN get elected are never the same as those who SHOULD get elected.
As for Clark - no disrespect to the military types - but every time I have been involved in a civilian organization that ends up getting run by an ex-mil OFFICER it ends up being the same deal. No idea about running an org where "orders" don't have the same effect. I know I'll probably getted reamed for this but I owned a house that had a homeowners asociation and a former army colonel got elected to head the board. Lots of orders to do stuff without the means to pay - really screwed up. Oddly enough, my grandfather's homeowners association and country club have had the same experiences. Clark's experience as a general would not NECESSARILY translate into success as chief executive.
Takes a certain personality to get promoted all the way to general and I don't know that I want that personality in the white house. Ho offence to officers on the forum, just an opinion.

Most of you are well aware of my views of Clark.
I'm chuffed to bits the bastard will never lead the free world (although I'm not exactly happy about the cowboy doing it now ;) ).
