I have these objects that I found in my grandfathers stuff after his death.
I had them for many years but now I'm interested of knowing more what they are.

1.Both objects.
1a.Of is of metal (brass I think) The cross has a lion with a sword which I guess is the Finnish country shield.
2a.Is made of bone and have the text: Soumi on middle brick. Cross has a reindeer in gold and with blue background. Text says: Salla, Petsamo, Rovaniemi.
I googled on the words and this came up:
The Battle of Salla was fought between Finnish and Soviet troops near Salla in northern Finland during the Winter War. The Soviets had orders to advance through Salla to Kemijärvi and Sodankylä, and from there to Rovaniemi in just two weeks. From there they were to advance to Tornio and cut Finland in two. The Finnish troops managed to stop the Soviet advance just east of Kemijärvi. During the last days of February 1940 the Finnish troops were replaced with the Swedish and Norwegian volunteers of the Stridsgruppen SFK.
