Very good reason. We will only have a real tree. We took the kids out the other day and cut a fresh tree down.

I don't have a Christmas tree, nor will I be putting one up...Bah humbug.

But I'd go with fake.

I prefer real trees, but I wont pay the ridiculous price some places charge for them. I cant believe the prices people are willing to pay for a tree that will be nothing but bald branches in a few weeks.

Real, had a fake one before. They, I mean it, was large and soft, and they, I mean it, bounced just a little when she, I mean it, danced.

What?

Getting a real one tomorrow. In the snow. All that happy Christmas family bonding bullsh*t.

We wont get ours until close to the 20th.
Only one year did we have a fake one, and that was when we were living in the tropics. The next year we cut down the top of a tropical pine tree thta wass in our yard and used that as a christmas tree. looked a bit like this

No tree, in fact no decorations what so ever.
Even thinking about Christmas makes me want to puke.

Don't put it near to the heating! The tree needs a little water now and then, just like a flower. And keep it somewhere in the cold before you put it up finally. ;)

no real one will hold in the flat for month or so(we put it up in xmas eve and hold it untill our parafial priest will came to vist the home, greet familiy sprinkle the house with holly water, pray for the good new year and collect money :) )... We have a real tree outside the house, its nice and big and no cut tree will look like it, esspecialy we don't bring snow into house... Anyway its all mater of luck, we have fake tree if we will decide to have real one we'll just buy it :)

So you have your tree outside and decorate this one instead of buying one?

Herrmannek

We decorate one outside with lights, and have middlesized fake one decorated with "glass bombs", shiny chains , lights and **** at home, to have where to put presents under.

To clear things a little. Polish catholics don't realy concentrate around the xmass tree, but around xmass eve table with family common gathering around), we put presents under tree just before eve dinner and get them somewheere in the middle of it from a youngster reading labels, so there is no need for a pimped up xmass tree...

The tree outside was planted with esspecialy purpose of being our multiyear real xmastree, but this year she(xmass trees are females in polish) may be cut, because of unavoidable construction work planed next year... :(
