Those aren't video clips of the actual incident. It's doctored video for the TV show.

seriously,those can't be actual clips of the incident...notice the full-down position of the flap on the still-present left wing. obviously, since only the left wing is there it is providing much more lift (i.e., roll rate to the right) than the absent right wing. So having the flap down would only increase lift of that left wing dramatically, and the plane would probably be rolling uncontrollably to the right...not ideal for landing that beautifully leveled landing pictured. just my $0.02

note the turkey feathers in that 2nd pic. USAF F-15s usually dont have those. IAF -15s got em tho.
