What is there to do?
The best they can do is write down a report and hope that it shows up somewhere. Unless its a theft of an item worth over 5000$ it can't be pursued so seriously.

SOME good news;

My buddy is going to do some fingerprinting on the truck for me :) he is a detective for the city and happened to phone me a few minutes ago about the poker game this weekend.

I hate theives too. Last year, i was working out and swimming at the local gym and my locker was broken into. I was at the gym everyday, so i got careless and i was stupid enough to bring valuables to the gym. My watch was stolen. My new $150 dollar shoes were stolen. And my hockey ring that was worth $300 was also stolen.

It pissed me off real badly. There were witnesses who told me which guys did it and i remembered seeing the guys in the pool. I asked to see the cameras so I could get a good picture of who the guys were but they didnt let me because of stupid privacy rules and they knew I would go after them. The cops said they were not able to do anything (like they cared anyways...).

if i was you, i would go to the local audio shops and tell someone there.

A buddy of mine got his speakers and amps stolen, and he went to 4 local car audio shops here and talk to the managers about it. Sure enough, 3 days later, some mucktard tried to sell them at one of the shops.

Someone broke my window out of my car, in my own driveway no less, and stole my entire CD book (it was big)...

my only consilation was that probably noone would listen to the CDs I do, so the thief was ****ed in trying to listen/resell them...

Years ago someone broke into my Plymouth Road Runner and stole...a stuffed Road Runner Doll that was in the back window. They didn't take nearly $400 worth of college books or the several K's worth of military gear. They took the freakin' $11.95 stuffed animal. Durf.

I had two quality mountainbikes stolen from me in less than a year...sucks ass. Now I keep it in my appartment and go through the hassle of dragging up and down the stairs every time I use it...

ya just the head unit... up side was my buddy says they got some pretty good paw prints off a broken piece of plastic, so he is gonna send them up the the dept of justice and see who pops up.....



no longer will I keep **** in my truck.. I think I'm going to get a cheap head unit and an I-pod. that way I can hook up the pod to a cheap stero and take the more expensive part with me so all they will get is a $30 head unit.

Nothing special but umbrellas. Someone stole the car stereo out of my friends car back in 97. My friend went into his place to pick up something really quick and when he came out like 3 minutes later, the stereo was gone. Someone seen the rat that did it from his apartment window, he snitched that rat, he knew where that crook hangs out at, we encountered him at the park and got the radio back. Though, it wasn't easy, the guy was hardheaded, a p*ssy at 1st, then he said he will bring it back, came back with some peeps. Long story.
