The rucksacks are used for long range missions or to carry specific, bulky equipment.

Great video, thanks!
Excuse my poor French but am I correct in translating that unit as: Marine Infantry Paratroopers?
Would they be similar to American SEALs?

Thanks again!

Marine Inf para used to be called "colonial" para; not very PC anymore hence the return to the original name of "infanterie de marine"

I guess is strange to have in the army something called "Troupes de Marines"
(Marine Troops in english). But in the past this Marine Regiments were named Colonial and they have fought in Indochina, Argélia, etc, but then it was a time when the french decided that "colonial" was not a political correct name so it was changed do "marine" to keep the overseas type of unit.

No this is the only version I found; I suppose there is a legal issue with putting a musical background music or something like that
