Hi all,

As some of you know I have good connections in Russian military. I also have been collecting this material since the late 80s. Almost everyone knows that this kind of material is very rare.

Most of you collect photos from the internet, and other sources like such.

I will be sharing some of the rare photos of Russian Spetsnaz with you.

This is the first part.

Enjoy.

Anyone know anymore about this vest? I thought the only Kamyesh(sp?) vest was made by ANA and it was the Grad-1 and Vitayz (sorry for the spelling). Does anyone have any experience with those vests or know what this one is and what it can hold?

Interesting that while you think keeping fingers off triggers is so important and deride anyone who dares to think differently, when you do see someone abiding by your rules it is Ironic.

Considering the amount you whine about such trigger finger discipline I would have expected a two page long rapture about how wonderful it is to teach from such a young age the correct way of doing things.

Of course the reality is that they are full sized weapons for adults being handled by children. They probably couldn't reach the trigger if they wanted to with anything looking like a normal grip on the weapons so of course they won't rest their fingers on the triggers.

BTW Thanks for the pics PermskiiOMON.... my modem hates you but my hard drive loves you to bits... :-)

Well considering it is a main saftey consideration that the guns should be "unloaded" at the time of taking the pictures (which hopefully is the case). Accidents do happen....

These are full sized weapons. But kids still do/can operate them, I suggest you do some research on kids involved in fighting around the world. Check the UN website to see how many conflicts currently involve childern, if I remeber its 53....

GazB reminds me of the type of person who never wears hearing protection, walks around with a loaded pistol/rifle w/ finger on trigger, and shoots someone in the ass "accidentally."

Jesus, that's just scary.
There's just something very disturbing about children with guns.
Kids should be playing football, not hide and seek with rifles.

And since everybody is hyper-sensitive on this forum;
No I'm not insulting Russia. No I'm not a terrorist sympathiser.
I'm however against small children as soldiers.

You would prolly find most of the older"parents" on this forum completely agreein with you, whether russian, american, israeli or swedish etc.. etc... most parents want their kids to play ball rather then train for war.
But unfortunately war is more of a reality in some regions :(

ehhhh these kids are not going to war, like in Africa. They just show them how to take apart guns, how to clean them, how to load bullets, how to aim, how to do ****. Cuz in Russia when a man turns 18, he's drafted and go's to shoot ragheads.

SPeak for your selves there European dudes.

As soon as my kid comes out of my mom, I will put face paint on his face, and give my AK-74M. The training begins.

I'll teach him how to cut his cord with his bayonet.

When your're in battle zones such as Chechnya and Bosnia you keep youre finger on the trigger all the time. My 2 uncles and my dads friend told me that and they fought in Croatia, Bosnia and Kosovo, that keep your finger off the trigger **** is for the range and western army training excersises! :P

I guess slipping in wet mud and shooting your buddy is okay for the Serbs? The muscle memory is so great that they can over come involountary and sympathetic muscle movement/contraction, instinct, reflex and accident. The Serb body lacks any effects to the proprioception system. Or any of the other easily placed 3 dozen likely to happen reasons not to walk around all the time with your finger on the trigger.

It certainly isn't okay for the Eastern European and FSU/ex soviet units with which I have worked. They tend to be smart, disciplined, experienced, and proffessional enough to know when to put the finger on the trigger and when to keep it off.

I dont think he meant it as serb bashing cuz Im sure most serbs DONT keep their fingers on the trigger all the time and if they do they need to be bashed. Reason states that any TRAINED army doesnt allow their troops to have the finger on the trigger unless they are engaging the enemy. This is something every soldier in every book and every interview and every conversation has always said. I think there may be a reason for it.

Having children, or rather teenagers, fight is ok if it's their choice.
However kids (sub-teens) fighting in war is just wrong.
Any Freudians here to back me up on this?
At that age you're not mature enough to handle the horrors of war.
Anyway, back to the topic, nice pics PermskiiOMON

We have alot of military schools in the southern USA. There is a military tradition there.

Also, some boys need the discipline or they will get into trouble.
