i read that, but this source is absolute,
check this out
http://www.sinopa.ee/sor/boraznoe/cterorel/orel01.htm
it say that black eagle tank has been in production for russian army after the year 2000 and that 50 of them were already supposed to be in service in the following two years, and from 2005 350 black eagle tanks will be produced yearly.

Just rumors...
About both Black Eagle and T-95 flows a lot of different rumors but there wasn't any reliable leaks about them. This means one of two:
- both projects dead
- both projects really (in the nearest time) moving into service
This would be consistent with other weapon systems.
For example the Mig-29SMT upgrades are now being fully funded and will start this year, and while the upgrades of existing helos, like Hip and Hind are going ahead to give all weather day and night capability the Russians are also accepting Mi-28Ns for their army, and Ka-52s for their spec ops.
(ie when there was no money in the immediate post cold war period the Russian arms developers were told to focus on two main areas... one for upgrades of existing equipment to make existing systems much more effective at minimal cost (ie keep existing infrastructure and logistics) and to keep up to date develop prototypes of new systems that would be bought when money was available. Much of the technology for the prototypes ended up in the upgrades as well, so although for example the Mi-28 is a brand new design many of its new features (like hingeless bearingless rotors, and more efficiently designed stub wings) could be added to the Hind to upgrade that helo before the Mi-28 entered service. (The new rotor increases lift and manouverability, while the new stub wings carry more weapons but are lighter and effect lift in the hover much less than the old models).
The suggestion that huge numbers of Black Eagles will enter service soon is probably unlikely, but 350 a year is reasonable and would enable the Russian forces to be reequipped in a decade or so. Knowing the Russians they will probably also add the turret bustle technology to existing vehicles for export or use in areas where more capable tanks are not needed.
