there's a new April 2003 issue of Sine Pari, the Army Special Forces magazine, online at http://www.soc.mil/News/SinePari/SinPariHome.shtml thought you guys might be interested in reading it, or just looking at the pictures and discussing what clothes they're wearing so you can go play airsoft in them.

Well assuming the March 2003 is the one you're referring to, there's no pictures in any of the issues where they're wearing anything other than standard old style camo. And even those are few and far between...

I think David's post was simply making fun of some of the members on here. Threads about which gear and weapon systems are best, dicussed by 14 year olds who have never fired a weapon will go on for pages and pages. While threads that attempt to take the spin off the media and get to the truth, or those that question government policies or motives are usually ignored, or flamed.

Nah I think you're wrong there, just look at the french boycott page... it's at least 30 pages long at this point. 30 pages of 14-year old airsoft playing french product boycotters with custom SF Oakley sunglasses. rofl

The special forces magazine editor was just following one of Sun Tzu's rules for deception: Make your enemy think you're close when you're actually far away.

I know this is an odd observation, but given my odd military background in PA and CID, I can certainly come up with odd observation.

I thought it strange that the editor of this publication is an E-4... and a hard stripe 4 at that. Also found it interesting from the masthead that there is a SOC Marketing division... rofl

all JTFazz is saying is that it is a little wierd that a very junior NCO is editing a newsletter that is intended for an entire command (SF Command). I noticed the same thing when I read it. Didn't notice the Marketing division though...
