We have difficulties in camo standartisation.
Also note that in Chechnya involved very much different forces: police, FSB, army, border guards etc.

I find the Russian pictures always interesting. I love the gear, especially anything in Kamysh. Everyday I see a new Kamysh vest I wanna buy :|
Keep up the good work.

How come I keep seeing these 7.62 x 39 Kalashnikovs. Are they still
widely used among the "interior ministry"-troops? I somehow had the
idea that the AK-74 (and all the other new stuff) had replaces the good
old short 7.62.

The Russians have some mean camo at their disposal alright, but the ones in blue have always made me wonder...

The good ol AKM is still in use.

We don't like to look at our guns and divide them by age.
The old guns are definately RPD, Mosin Nagant...

AKM AK74 is not old

And we will use it for the next 20 years.

Why fix something if its not broke.

Watch the Sundanche channel, the sand chamber. Try it with other weapons. ;)

I am looking forward to buy some Russian equipment too. I want to buy that light vest jacket with back pockets that Perm showed couple of times (BTW what is the name?). But the thing is Russian stuff is kind of expensive.... not very affordable.... :|
