Rio de Janeiro B.O.P.E Shootout

This is some file footage from a shootout in Rio de Janeiro, Im not so sure about the time these were caught on tape, but i think its recent, i think you should take a look on what happens everyday. The officers showing are B.O.P.E ( Batalhão de Operações especiais, or Special operations Battalion, a division od RJ military police department.). This is my first post, I have more pics from B.O.P.E in action, and I will post them soon!

It looked like they were firing into the air, when the camera took a look around the corner with a guy firing, he was aiming even above the mountains it seemed.

He was aiming to the mountains for real, because there are snipers ( most of them brazilian special forces that were dismissed from job, and they were " contracted " by the Druglords in rio, so they can fight the police and train the criminals with guerrillla warfare) Many Airborne special forces are being contracted by the criminals, because they cant get a job. Situation In Rio is worse than palestine, but the authorities always deny it, since the Chief of public safety will be on elections in Brazil. From time to time, the criminals got themselves, .50 caliber sniper rifles, 30 browning machinegun, land mines, grenades, rpg´s,lots and lots of ammo and they got even STINGERS! A Civil war is happening in rio, but nobdy cares about it... And the worse... corruption between policemen in rio is the highest ratio of Brazil. Internal affairs says the numbers are by 30% to 40% of the police force... but for real, this numbers reaches almost 70%... Those are some facts about Rio de Janeiro Warfare...
