Well MIKE Force was one of a number of local units created by Military Assistance Command-Vietnam (MAC-V) during the sixities. I'm trying to remember the pictures I've seen of MIKE Force units and their patches, but all I can seem to remember is the tiger head on the star that also appeared, although that was mostly ARVN Rangers and Hac Boa. MIKE Force was part of the CIDG program, and transfered to ARVN command, in 1968 IIRC. I don't remember hearing of any units specifically in Thailand, but that doesn't mean this patch couldn't have popped up there somehow.

I'm sure you could do a search for threads by Goldman and trying see if this patch comes up.

did you notice that "airborne" is stitched as "air borne" ? i thought that was quite strange too...
I'll search goldman posts, thanks

Yeah, but if this patch was being made by someone not entirely familiar with English, they could easily have made this mistake. However, this doesn't nessecarily help with ID since repros and the originals I would've assumed were probably made locally.

It doesent look original, should look more aged and used.
