Sat images of military bases.

Before I start posting pictures of this nature on the forum I would like to know if it is against any forum rules to do so. Or if people just generally think it is a bad idea then I won't. All the sat images would be from google earth so they aren't classified or anything. Just want to know people's opinions before I go doing something like that.

As you can see though I had to edit it a bit to make it less complicated. The bases are at the exact same places as in the other map I showed you so I don't think I need to translate. Sweden uses C-130s - and they should all be at the F 7 Air Force Base in Såtenäs (south-west of Sweden) since that's where the Air Transport Wing is located.

Thanks this is better. I need the detail to find my way to the site when I zoom in. Unfortunetly Google earth does not have the same detail for every place in the world. It uses some older Sat images for parts of the world that are less popular to visit. So a lot of the bases I have now checked in sweden do not have the level of detail necessary to see planes and cars on the ground. I found the transport air base but all you can make out is the runway. I will keep looking for something though.

Muskö naval base (sweden), with a nuke-proof base under the mountain and 4 ports to dry/wet docks for submarines and vessels for maintenance. Workshops and command center in the mountain... i've been there, very impressive :)

Your right. Its either Muskö or Berga. The ship with the the big helopad in the front you see is Belos (a tender/submarine resqueship).
