I think it's a copy of a scan of a copied scan.

It was taken on Coronado I would guess early to mid 90's. Another photo taken of the arctic coveralls ended up on the cover of Rouge Spear's game box. The photos were in Popular Mechanics that might help you date it if your really interested.

Try Corbis, I think they have a Hi-Res

Rather surprised to me that it mentioned "chicom type 56-2" was in SEAL's firepower.

Not sure how much Chinese crap the USA military uses ;)

ETA: Any how I can think of quite a few more AK variants that are far far higher quality than anything china put out.
