BTW: I seriously doubt it's a real SWAT team... they look rather like a bunch of sunday drivers.

Is it me or there are no magazines in those MP-5?

That rifle on the left appears to be an SKS. Of what origin I don't know. Those MP5's are indeed missing magazines, I'd hazard a guess this is a training exercise.

It's not unusual to leave the magazine out of a weapon during training as an additional safety measure.

Regarding Williamson County, I don't know this for sure, but they are probably like many smaller county (at least smaller in tax revenue) Swat teams, were they are made up of members from many deparments within the county and they bring whatever equipment they have at thier home agency, or they supply thier own equipment.

Regardless of what the caption my say, I guarantee it's a training exercise. Unless these guys have some sort of death wish.

As for the pic of the guys with various weapons, you get what you can afford. If the team is from a small county sheriff's office (which is what most sheriff's offices in the US are), they may not have the funding to outfit everyone with the same gear. Its not unusual for guys to buy gear out of their own pocket or used weapons they've seized. Up until recently, the .45's used by LAPD SWAT were weapons they had seized, and rebulit by their armorers.
