I found some nice pictures of Agusta A109 LUHS. All pictures is taken on the Swedish version. The Swedish HKP15 (A109 LUHS) has two different versions. One for land based operation and one for ship based operations. The ship based operations version has a shorter tail so it can fitt inside the hangar on the Visby korvetts.

Great pics dude! In my opinion though they should just scrap the whole idea of a helicopter hangar. The A109 is not big and capable enough to do any good if deployed from the Visby. Quite nice helicopter nonetheless.

The Swedish version has Night Vision Googles (NVG) and a FLIR camera. The FLIR (Forward Looking Infra Red) is one of the best in the world and can find hot things on a distance of several kilometers. The FLIR also have a gyro that makes the camera look att the hot spot even if the helicopter is moving and turning. The camera is calibrated with a Lamp that lights when the helicopter reaches the target. If the pilot wants to se sith his NVG the lamp switshes to IT-light or indicates the target with a lacerpointer. The FLIR then indicates the target on the digital map. The pilot can also se the GPS position of the helicopter and altitude but also powerlines. That makes the flight much easier.

(Sorry for bad english)

The helicopter is panted in the standard Swedish M/90 cammo. The soldiers carry the same.

Belgium uses the A109A, the original version. Sweden will be using the A109M, the military version of the latest A109E Power family.

Real nice photos. Does the Army version carry armament? I always had a thing for the (armed) A109, despite its somewhat tarnished reputation here in Greece (civvy A109E Power).

As a sidenote it can be mentioned that the Swedish Navy have had helicopters on ships before.

http://www.avrosys.nu/aircraft/Heli/502HHP2_150-5067.jpg
A "Hkp 2" on the destroyer Småland (at a Gothenburg floating ship museum if someone
wants to see it live). Marinen = Navy

The helicopter is panted in the standard Swedish M/90 cammo. The soldiers carry the same.

That camo was used on helicopters, terrain vehicles etc. before the m/90 uniform system was introduced, don't think it have any particular name, and if it does it's not m/90.

What reputation do they have in Greece?

I have read that they will get the option to have side-gunners, but I think that is about it. Possibly they could be converted to launch anti-tank missiles in the future. A similar conversion was made on four Jet Rangers (Hkp 6A) in Sweden 1977-1978 that got French APX sights among other things.

As far as I know, the Belgian "A 109BA" is based on the A 109CM with fixed landing gear and sliding doors.

What reputation do they have in Greece?

First of all, sorry for the late reply. To answer your question: The National Emergency Assistance Center, which is part of the National Health System purchased five A109E Power. Of these three were lost in fatal crashes, two of them attributed at least in part to malfunctions in the electrical system. Needless to say, their reputation is not the best around here.
