For those interested in tactical police units. I just posted some information about this very well trained group of the Federal Preventive Police.

Nice job GAFES! I always wondered what is the difference between GOPES and the Alamo tactical support group. And also why there is so little information about GERRI and AFI special operations units

GAFES, while I'm thinking about it, would you like to take a crack at writing a few profiles of the various Mexican elite and SOF units?

The ALAMO tactical group was the pioneer regarding the '' swat concept'' in Mexico. And if Im not mistaken, the Alamo belongs to the local Mexico City police department, while the GOPES are a federal unit with more capabilities.

Nice pictures GAFES, it is good to see you are still around. Have you heard any news on any of the Mexican Navy's special projects? BTW, Happy New Year!
