We all know a mudmarine is defined as a repeatedly presented form of media(thread, video, article, etc.) on a forum(particularly MP.net) that everyone has seen over and over again prompting us to notify the person/persons that has made the thread that we have "SEEN IT A MILLION TIMES STOP POSTING THIS CRAP ITS OLDER THAN TEH INTERNET ITSELF!" What really qualifies a form of media to be a mudmarine or get the award for being one? Two or more? More than three? How bout 5? What makes us upgrade the award to the all-elusive 101st. Mudmarine Airborne Division or the 'Godlike' Big Red Mudmarine? Question/Comments?

I don't know why you get upset about reposts, unless you look at MP.net everyday you'll rarely see the same thing posted. at least I never have seen the reposts.

Couldnt agree more. The whole MM thing has become a contest to see which waste of sperm can post it first.
Some of the best threads I've come across were MM, and every time I let the moron who posts MM know that its new to me. I work have a social life, girlfreind etc. Im lucky if I can spend a half hour a night on here poking around. I basically just stay on the main page and most topics that are not considered "hot" I miss.

I think most of us who do have a life,a wife and work agree with you Pathfinder. As for us it's really hard to keep track on all the threads onhere, let alone be careful it's not a repost.
I'm sure it's mainly kids who are the first to yell RMM!!
They have nothing else to do than scrolling through MP.net and wanking.

An RMM is something that has been posted many, many, many...many times...Some people can be a little extreme on the RMM repost, but overall, I think that someone just posts a link of the first post and a little RMM next to it.
It's ok to post something that's already posted...I've done it. And, I agree how it can be difficult to keep track of things especially if you don't come on here every day....But, there is a search function as well...

I usually don't worry about it too much unless its JUST been posted a day or so ago. Six months? COuld have been busy working, etc. during that time frame. (For example, I go on several short deployments per year.)

I think 4 is the breaking point, 3 times can happen in one day depending on how popular something is..but 4 enggggh
But there are those things I don't mind a repost of, such as Bomb girl. But then there are those that drive you insane such as the "OMG Special FOrces shoot Afghans with 50 cal" "OMG Navy SEAL's blow away insurgents with a 50"
"Alqueeda shot with 50 cal by Marine Snipers".............that video has gotten old fast.
