I have'nt seen too many Lithuanian pic's before:
There are currently two Lithuanian units in Iraq. The Lithuanian unit serving with the Poles is a 45-man platoon of the Grand Duchess Birute Motorised Infantry Battalion (Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštienes Birutes motorizuotasis pestininku batalionas). There is also a 54-man Lithuanian contingent in the Danish battalion in the UK sector. It is from the Grand Duke Algirdas Mechanized Infantry Battalion (Lietuvos Didžiojo kunigaikšcio Algirdo mechanizuotasis pestininku batalionas).

There are many pictures on the Lithuanian Defense Ministry website, but except for a gallery (http://buves.kam.lt/img/medikai/index.htm) of the Lithuanian medical team, most are tiny pictures like this:

http://www.kam.lt/EasyAdmin/sys/photos/use/Dsc00078_copy_2.jpg

Regarding this:

If you can read French, here is the source of the numbers in the graphic: http://www.defense.gouv.fr/ema/forces/operations/point/index.htm. It is from the Etat-Major des Armées, the French armed forces headquarters.

Nope - its new uniform. Pattern is basically the same (Desert Panther/Pustynna Pantera - desert version of polish "woodland" Pantera wz.93 pattern) but there are new, less contrasting colours applied - so the new "sandy-yellowish" colour may indeed look "dirty" from a distance compared to the earlier, pale version. There are also several small changes in cut, pockets and so on. More interesting is (at least for me) that "old" guy wears newest polish body armour system MOPAT 2004 compatible with US Molle system (with several diffrences)! Rare thing.

on that carrier high res pic, you can see the difference between the F/A18E and C models. The two hornets on the evelator just fore of the tower has a C model fore, and a E model aft. Nice contrast there. :D

I've seen them carrying LAV25 while refueling - but I must say those "double-packed HMMWV" look even more impressive :D
