I am writing a new story called "Persian Flower" It is about a team of Delta Operators going into Iran in 2008. I was thinking of having the hero Captain Richard "Venom" Jacoby fall threw a trap door on a mission in the mountians of Iran. He finds himself in a a pool of warm water and flowers and a number of different fruits all in the water. He walks around and lights all the torches on the wall. And after that he finds a coffin resting on a doom in the middle of the pool.

He of course walks up a opens it and finds "Ms. Freeze" intombed in ice. He starts touching her coffin and soon triggers the coffin to release very hot water melt the ice. The walls of the coffin then slide into slits in the ground. And thus the beautful Persian princess wakes up after 1000s of years of being a ice cube. She is of course very thankful to Venom and gives him a rather nice "thank you."

After a few days of "adventure" the tomb is found by a spec ops unit. And both Venom and the princess are taken to HQ. She is later kidnapped by guys from Al-Qaeda and Osama Bin Laden takes her himself as a hostage and threatens to blow up Terhan with a nuke. Venom saves her kills Osama and saves Terhan. Then Ms. Freeze gives a speech on world wide TV and tells women all over the muslim world to stand up for their rights and to reject islamic law because they deserve better.

Anyway later on in the book it is shown how Ms. Freeze was kept alive for so long. organisms living in the metal (which is made from asteroid metal) sustained her body and kept her alive. The story goes she fell sick and was thought to have died and thus intombed her but it turned out she was still alive and was in a deep sleep for 1000s of years and the organisms stopped her from aging.

No, I mean forget this whole idea. If you really want to start writing decent stuff, then think of something that's somewhat plausible, interesting, and won't induce uncontrollable laughter due to its absurdity (i.e. no ridiculous ice princesses). Furthermore, start with short stories that are simple and don't involve a whole lot of action. Focus on dialogue. Wait until you can really author before you write an epic.

Hello everyone. I need help planing my future carreer in the military. I plan to Join the United States Marine Corps first when I finish high school. I will go to California to enlist. Hopefully I will end up in the 1st Marine Division. I will try to go into Marine Force Recon, and I might look to another branch for work. I need to make a choice between Army or Navy. If I join the Army I will go for Army Rangers or Special Forces (Green Berets) and then hopefully get into Delta Force. If I go into the Navy I will go into the SEALs and then hopefully get into DEVGRU (AKA SEAL Team Six). I need advice.


To get me ready for the world of Special Operations, I would not think of leaving the USMC if DEVGRU and Delta Force did not exist. I want to have a good record. and it should be very impressive to the guys who get people for this stuff. It is something I will do if I can. It is to turn me into a fighting machine and will be more than enough to prepare me for the next task.

Am I the only one that was prepared to invest money in the finished product? I was prepared to buy that book. The storyline was fantastic, very original and true to the middle-eastern way of storytelling (? /Staff). Id so buy that book and I know that Moose would too.

Haha but his childish stupidity is what makes him so cute. I especially enjoyed that IED remark, its obvious he missed out on his afternoon nap and was a bit cranky at the time of typing that. You must be able to suspend the disbelief of your readers in order for them to take your story seriously. There's no way that the princess wouldn't be suffering from severe ******l dryness after being frozen in a retractable asteroid coffin for 1000 years. There needs to be some kind of enchanted spermicidal gel lubricant in a nearby golden chalice.
