I've got a couple of these. Do you have a scan of the back side for the benefit of all?

WOW theres some intersting stuff in that. And there are some flaws in it. Especialy the male dress, pillars of islam, and Religious terms. And the flag thing is kind of odd too. I know that green is used because it was the flag that was used thousands of years ago. And the black one is used when someone dies for mourning. I dont know about the other two never heard of people use the color for anything.

You can tell a wahabi because they dont shave their beard, come on...

I asked a couple of Iraqis if there was any significance to the color of their headscarves and they said it was simply a matter of personal preference.

It is a preference. But you can still tell whose from what country or region by the scarf. I mean saudis are known for wearing th red/white and they spend hundreds of dollars on them. Kuwait, UAE, Qatar etc.. they wear the white ones to match their white dress. But it all goes down to what the individual wants.

Hundreds of dollars?!? Are you serious? What are they made of? Do they look any different from the regular ones? I've got a small collection of about 5 or 6 in different colors but they all have the same basic pattern (and none cost me more than US$8). While in Kuwait I saw a young man with a really stylish one: It was grey and black but looked like it had a picture or painting of something printed on it.

By the way, just to bring this discussion back on track, here are a few pics of the USMC version of the smart card, and comparison shots of each, front and back.

Spending hundreds of dollars on a headscarf seems a lot more logical than spending $150 for a ripped and ruined jean (Vintage they call it). :|

Yup they can cost hundreds of dollars depending on the material. Some are made from silk, some have gold in them. Those rich princes dont know how to spend their money....Some of them are also made in the UK and France. I guess if its foreign then it has to be good.

It was grey and black but looked like it had a picture or painting of something printed on it.

heh I wouldn't buy it if I were you unless i know what the picture is all about. Recently they make them and put pictures of leaders on them, or maps such as palestine.

While being abroad I've learned a few languages, but the only things I'm able to say are "Stop or I'll fire", "You have pretty eyes" and the local equivalent of "your mother sucks **** in hell".
Fun, but totally useless in civilian life.
