yeah there's another pretty good page out there... but I didn't post the pictures in the gallery here, as there's a good number of photos of the humvees etc after they've been shot up with blood sprayed all over the place... not pretty. here's some of the other ones though.

Restore Hope was Marines... not Rangers. Gothic Serpant was Rangers and Delta. RH turned into GS when Adid did all his ****...

Operation Restore hope was a coalition force comprised of all branches of the US Military. On 5/1/93 when the UN officially took control of operations in Somalia, it was changed to "Operation Continue Hope" and stayed that until the pullout at the end of 93 when it changed once again. The name escapes me, as I wasn't there for the pullout. Aidid 'Did all his ****' all summer long starting with the ambush and killing of 24 Pakistani peacekeepers on 21 Oct. Rd on 6 June. 'Gothic Serpeant' was the codename of the SOCOM (not UN) led mission to capture Aidid and bring him to justice.

Thanks for the info, I'll modify the gallery title to reflect this. In all the sites I've been through, none have mentioned the name Gothic Serpent. Even when I search under that name, there's only 3 sites that come up, including the DoD paper on the snatch operation that verifies your statement.

Yeah, if you put nothing in that field, it'll just say Guest... you can however, put whatever you want in there and it'll just show it. It'll stop you if you try to use a name that's a registered account.

I appreciate the added info you guys mentioned. Makes me look like less of an idiot when I post new items. :) Unfortunately since I converted the user database from the old gaming site to this totally separate site (wanted to truly separate this site from anything involving gaming) there seems to have been some glitches. I can't delete your accounts for you to retry them as it didn't work for another user either. I'll have to ask that you register a new username to clear it up. It gives you the option of having it notify you when new messages are posted to topics you joined.
