Taking a taxi may be a relatively luxurious form of transport - but it might also increase your exposure to common pollutants.
A team at Imperial College London found taxi travel resulted in more exposure to pollutants than travelling by car or bus, or riding a bike.

Taxi: over 100,000 pt/cm3
Bus: just under 100,000 pt/cm3
Car: 40,000 pt/cm3
Cycling: 8,000 pt/cm3
Walking: 5,000 pt/cm3
Measure is: ultrafine particles

hahaha I got a great one. A few years ago me and my buddy were on Queen and Jarvis and he'd just bought a new bong. This is a pretty bad area to be in. It's also the most popular place in Toronto to pick up hookers. Anyways we saw some guy getting robbed down the road and we thought it was time to go so we got in this cab. Anyways, my buddy was dressed like a typical preppy jew and the cab driver asks us.
" Are you guys Jewish? "

We were like, ' yeeeeeeeeah.' Then he said, ' Oh because i'm from Lebanon and i'm a terrorist hahahahahaha. "

Me and my buddy were just like oh **** but the driver just said he was joking and drove us home
