I am a big H.P Lovecraft fan. He wrote what I think could be considered the original American Pulp Horror. He also did some novels. Some of his work for those not familiar with it has a lot of interesting Mythos associated with it...some of it suoer crazy.

Anyways, there is sort of pop culture of new authors, board games, pc/console games, and roleplaying/host a murder parties that have blossomed over the last three or four decades...alot of his writting tends to revolve around what is real and not...human's place in the universe...and sanity or rather, the lack thereof...

But I have to do this test. Hehe...

Some of his stuff was trully on par with Edgar Allen Poe, but Poe was fairly Victorian to me while in style why Lovecraft had a certain Modern turn of the century thing going. I think a bulk of his shorts were quite pulpy...in a time when no one was doing writing like that. Yeah, I think he started the pulp horror era in the US...

There is a fairly large amount of difference between the two.
