On the Rheinmetall DETEC Website is stated they have delivered 7 Wiesel vehicles to the US, I think for testing. Any pics available?

They were evaluated for use as robot vehicles (UGVs). That was a couple years ago, though - I don't know if the program is still active.

I dont know, personally I think the general concept as well as the vehicle itself is great, but that not a single one has been exportet (not counting those 7 for evaluation) says something about that apparently noone else sees a need for such an unique thing.

The Wiesel is great and would be a benefit to any mechanized unit.

It exists as a modluar weapon platform, anti-aircraft (Ozelot), anti-tank, troop-carrier, forward observer, 120mm mortar, ammo-transporter, medic-tank, pioneer etc version exist. The Wiesel has in the Anti-Tank Version enough punch with a 20mm Chaingun and the frecnh ATM HOT missile. I think the Wiesel will be adopted by others, because the war in Iraq and Anfghanistan shows, that the old concept of the armor from the cold war has to be changed. Because my english is to bad to explain this, read this:

Wiesel looks strange and you have to convince a lot of cold warriors to this concept.

You're mixing up two different version.
The multi-purpose variant is armed with a 20mm automatic cannon.
The anti-tank variant is armed with TOW missiles and a 7.62mm MG.

Nope, according to the information of waffenhq.de and Jane's the "Wiesel 2 ATM HOT" has: 20mm Chaingun and the french HOT anti-tank weapon.

The Wiesel 1 ATM HOT had a 12.7mm gun and there exists also a Wiesel 1 TOW. But I meant the Wiesel 2 ATM HOT. Sorry for misunderstandings.

Wiesel 1 ATM HOT and Wiesel 2 ATM HOT were only prototypes.

There are only 2 versions of the Wiesel 1:

Wiesel 1 TOW (210 procured) and Wiesel 1 MK20 (133 procured).

There are several versions of the Wiesel 2 to enter service (some of them are already in service):

50 Wiesel 2 Ozelot (AA-version with 4 Stingers)
12 Wiesel 2 AFF (Recon-version)
7 Wiesel 2 BF/UF (support-vehicles for the AA-version)
15 Wiesel 2 Sanitätstrupp (+5 optional) (medic-version)
94 Wiesel 2 lePzMrs 120mm (light 120mm mortar)
