Michael Beals struggles with a snow blower as he works on clearing a sidewalk on Hollis street in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia February 20, 2004. Two of Canada's Atlantic provinces declared a state of emergency on after they were hit by a powerful blizzard that forced even snowplows to stay off the road. The Maritime provinces of Prince Edward Island and Nova Scotia were slammed by up to 90 cm of snow in just one day and combined with winds of up to 100 km/h (60 mph), which made for whiteout conditions across much of the region. aaahhh you gotta love Canada.

What hit the Canadian East Coast was a Bomb. A Bomb is opposite of a Hurricane in the sense that Hurricane happens in warm weather but Bomb happens in Cold weather, and a Bomb even has a storm surge. Pretty cool stuff. As I wrote this I was watching Discovery channel and they were talking about this weather phenomenom. :)

I wonder if US Abrams or other equipment would be able to function in conditions like that. Hint to Americans don't invade us, fear our weather. :D
