Gordon Brown has proposed that Remembrance Sunday should be developed into a national day of patriotism to celebrate British history, achievements and culture.

Is this the Labour parties idea of getting rid of the Remembrance day and forget all the men and women that have died for their Country

No , its a way of denying us an extra days holiday. We should be celebrating St Andrews, St Georges and St Davids and St Paddy's in the respective nations on a weekday that we can take off to have a p*ss up with our mates and what does he propose ? -a SUNDAY. Whopee thanks for eff all.
