According to what my wife read on www.kp.ru (http://www.kp.ru), they were running out of ammo so the officers volunteered to stand out in the open one by one as targets so that the others could get a clean shot at the terrorists. Have not been able to verify this story.
The problem is that about 20 Chechnyans from this group crossed the Arizona/Mexico border about 6 months later and are here in the US per the Washington Post. The question is now where are they and what are they up to doing??

Not really true. And kp.ru is very ****ty source.
There were a lot of reasons, one of them "ruspecnaz" mentioned already, the second reason, is a major one, the assault groups were not in a place when the whole hell brake loose.
They were doing training assault rehearsal (i don't know how to put it in a normal language) a bit far a way in some building similar to that school.
So when the get there it was a disaster already.
There were 10 officers from group A and V and 2 FEMA officers who gave their lifes.
Here they are:
Group A

I think you all should realise that the Beslan incident is far from clear, and the official Russian version is challenged even by the victims fathers and mothers. There are even claims that the whole incident was "arranged", but the clearer parts of the claims about operation include:
- Shmel RPO "demolition rocket" tubes were found on the roof of a neighbouring building which was occupied by the security forces. It is claimed that launching of these rockets started the firefight and caused the explosions inside. Tubes have been handed over to the investigators.
- Second part of the attack involved tanks firing at the building hostages were held inside. It is claimed that the kidnappers told the hostages to take cover and hide in safer parts of the building.
- The two Chechen brothers charged for attack were serving a prison sentence in a Russian prison at the time of the attack, but were 'found' in Beslan. Other shot dead, other surviving by accident.
- At least one independent reporter heading for Beslan was arrested by security forces before arriving, other got a life threatening poisoning while traveling to Beslan.
Interesting to say the least...

you right.
this just because stupid Russian government brought those terrorist, or how Europe still call them "rebels", to school, and then brought kids to that school, and even fire a tank rounds at school when a lot of hostages were in school, and even or my God, they didn't allowed some "independent" journalist to make another bushtit "base on real events" story (how dare they are) and all this sacrifices and complication only for WHAT?
sure you know the answer, please do share!

All of these things are reported in several international media. I just picked them up for general knowledge, and do not have an own opinion of the matters. Just to let everyone know.
I'm not interested in Russian internal politics.

"- Shmel RPO "demolition rocket" tubes were found on the roof of a neighbouring building which was occupied by the security forces. It is claimed that launching of these rockets started the firefight and caused the explosions inside. Tubes have been handed over to the investigators."
I ahve picture of that, and theyr TTX making it almost imposible to make fire, they design for braking walls.
"- Second part of the attack involved tanks firing at the building hostages were held inside. It is claimed that the kidnappers told the hostages to take cover and hide in safer parts of the building."
Have been used only after taking all hostages to save place. And it shot i think just a few times to destroy sniper position.
"- The two Chechen brothers charged for attack were serving a prison sentence in a Russian prison at the time of the attack, but were 'found' in Beslan. Other shot dead, other surviving by accident."
Maybe...don't really know a lot about that.
"- At least one independent reporter heading for Beslan was arrested by security forces before arriving, other got a life threatening poisoning while traveling to Beslan."
Lets mace it claer, we don't care if he is independend or depended reporter. I know that almost all of them sons of the b***. So i totally agree with security forces.

as you probably know, media don't give a **** about anything, if they can sell it and get enough audience, than, they will found an aircraft carrier on Caucus mountains. And I'm not speaking about some particular media, all of them, even a russian media throw a lot **** to the goverment blaming them on everything what happened and never did even the body were still in a morg.
I just picked them up for general knowledge, and do not have an own opinion of the matters. Just to let everyone know.
see it's not really general knowledge, that is more in details, and those details are focusing to proove only one point. isitn't suspicios
I'm not interested in Russian internal politics.

All of these are "claims" that need a special foil hat... I especially like the one that attempts to make the terrorists look humane - tell me, did the "kidnappers" tell the "hostages to get down" before or after they began shooting children in the back, whom were fleeing from the scene after the explosion at the gym?
"- Shmel RPO "demolition rocket" tubes were found on the roof of a neighboring building which was occupied by the security forces. "
Can you say, "Planting evidence"? Tubes were brought into the case months after the incident and there is no clear proof where those were found - for all I know, those could be bought in Mozdok. Such kind of evidence would not be admissible in traffic court.
"- The two Chechen brothers charged for attack were serving a prison sentence in a Russian prison at the time of the attack"
This is just stretching it - did the purported brothers survive? If so, they have lawyers and would be free right now. If they were "killed" in the fight, then Spetznaz must have arrived with two body bags in tow?
"- At least one independent reporter heading for Beslan was arrested by security forces before arriving, other got a life threatening poisoning while traveling to Beslan."
People in Russia have names - "some person" and "another person" proves about as much as "my mother saw a tank"...
Don't make me post that equally ridiculous "Pentagon Attack 9/11" or get this thread locked

JFK killed by a magic bullet? Was the Moon Landing faked? What happened to Flight 93? There is "evidence" of all that in "international media".
I'm not interested in US internal politics just "interesting info"... and so on and so on.
Please take time and digest bs from actual information - what that nonsense is doing in Strictly Photos and Videos section is beyond me. A pattern has developed, not the first and not the last.
Please lock this thread before any more RMM "evidence" is brought here.

The point here is that people should do their homework before acting and grabbing for their pitchforks. People shouldn't succumb to a knee jerk reaction and asses the situation reasonably.
