I was in Rome a couple nights before this parade...

Walking home bymyself from a Pub Crawl (Homers Pub Crawl)

Military units parading around, think it was between 1-4 A.M

Not sure what unit, but Im wasted and a unit marches by, all with MP5.

It was very cool, and intimidating. (I was alone and drunk)

Carabineri out the next morning watching the empty stands so It must have been a day or 2 after I left because I would have noticed.

I left the next day, should have stayed. But it was amazing to see the soldiers at night preparing. Would be cool if the US did something like this on large scale. Such a great show of power, gives pride to citizens. Its a must to prepare at night so drunk people can see when they walk home. :D
