Baskin Robbins is pretty good for hand dipped. If your going for soft serve Dairy Queen rocks, but some of the mom and pop frozen custard places rock too.

Ive had Blue bunny but it pails in comparison to Blue Bell. Period.

I've had Ben and Jerrys a couple of times and enjoyed it but i refuse to pay that much money for a small ass pint when i can get a big half gallon of blue bell.

However I stick with classic...cho, vanilla & strawberry. But not all at once...never could stand that mixed package.

I am a coffee junkie...it's my heroin.
However...I was in a Memphis airport last year on a layover and for the first time in my life had Starbucks...

It was like 4 dollars and tasted like they used a dirty sock for a filter....
How in the hell did foot flavored coffee become so trendy?

Eat some fat-free whipped cream. Seriously - no carbs, almost no fat at all.

you don't want fat free whipped cream... you just want whipped cream... when they remove fat... they add sugar to give it more taste, and sugar = carbs.
There are some pretty decent low carb ice cream products out there... trust me... I've tried them all...

Problem is when you go low carb and low fat, that pretty much limits your diet to a very restricting degree. Food are either fat free and high in carbs, or full of fat but low in carbs.

I can have chicken breast, chicken breast, and chicken breast lol.

I'm totally with the supporters of Blue Bell. I've tried lots of ice cream, and it's still the best I've ever had. I don't like Ben&Jerry's at all... it's way too sweet.

Sir-chimp, if the cravings are really killing you... Try Skinny Cow brand. They make low-fat and low-carb products that taste really good (I was on low-carb for a while to regulate my blood sugar).

I like Blue Bell and Angel Food ice cream. Not too sweet, and they don't get crusted over with ice after they sit in the freezer for a while. That means they use more cream than water, unlike most cheap ice creams.

I'm into Pralines and Cream and Moose Tracks, flavor-wise.

My favorite is Ben & Jerry's but it's expensive, a 500ml(16 fl.oz) tub costs about $10.

My new favorite vanilla ice cream is called Vivana, from Nestlé. It tastes and looks like homemade ice cream, it's soft right out of the freezer and has A LOT of vanilla seeds...it's great!

as coffee Ice cream, Coffee Coffee, Buzz, Buzz, Buzz is my fave... took a trip from new york to the vermont factory for that damn flavor... well, then we made a detour to go snowboarding while we were in the neighborhood...

as portable ice cream, I got to say the Mars ice cream bars are friggin' addictive...

Ben & Jerry's and all the other expensive brands that come in small containers are just too rich and expensive. I love blue bell because I can sit down and have a bowl of cookies n cream the size of my cereal in the morning and not feel sick. Cold Stone isn't really ice cream, it's just chemical powder...
