I wonder if thats true.

Rather interesting that they are 'related' let alone by royal blood.

It's weird. The link takes you to Ancestry.com. As far as I know it's a very reputable geneological research site.

SCM77>>>The point ISN'T that Bush and Powell are cousins...it's that they are related to English Royalty! Go tothe link about the Bush family drug dynasty and go to chapter 7 for further info!!!!!!

At the Library of Congress they have George Washington traced back to Richard the Lionheart. I think geneology is interesting. Course everyone thinks they come from impotant people, not horse thieves. ;)

That's cool. I always wanted pirate ancestors or guys who fought at Waterloo or Culloden or some highwayman that was hanged.

Can I post here without being accused of "following" joe? ;)

My mother's side of the family claims to be able to trace their roots back to the Stuart kings..... so I have a legitimate claim to be called the queen. ;)

ahh the British Royalty, as opposed to the French Stewart, but then one could still be called a queen.

It is not difficult to be of royal blood. Specially British. With all respect to our Subjects of the Queen: The British royalties shagged all over the place. Many of the nobelities that came around in the 18th. century is a result of Royal shagging that had comed out of controle.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the House of Marlborough a product of a bastard son?
