Cool, keep posting. I loved the Silent Weapons video you posted yesterday, and I guess I'll love this one too in a few hours.

Russia choose Mi28N , give up Ka-50 , before that just 2 Ka-50s to war .

I made the mistake of trying to open one part at a time.
It seems you have download all the parts first then use
http://unrarx.sourceforge.net/ unrarx to expand them.
The three parts combine into one avi file of about 250mg
which play well on VLC player.

Striking Force-Udarnaya Sila!
Russia choose Mi28N , give up Ka-50 , before that just 2 Ka-50s to war .
They chose the mi-28N to replace the Hinds in service. They also chose to buy a dozen Ka-52s for experimental and Spec Ops purposes. Basically the Mi-28N has the advantage that its new main rotor and new engines and wings and equipment (ie avionics and weapons) can be retrofitted to existing Hinds when they get overhauled. This means that the 300 Mi-28Ns they are going to buy will enter service over the next 5 years. Experience with parts of the mi-28N will be gained through operational use of its parts and a few Mi-28N aircraft in service. The fleet of existing Hinds will be upgraded to greatly improve performance while reducing the costs of the new Mi-28N by increasing the number of parts made and updating the flight and maintaince crews sooner with the parts entering service earlier.
The Ka-50 had the fundamental flaw of being a single seat helo at a time when night flying is a full time job, so two crew are needed. Otherwise it was in many ways superior to the Mi-28. It was also more expensive though.
