Hi all,
I'm doing homework on my new computer, I'm having to write up a report on human exoskeletons.
But that's not the problem.
Unfortunaly my computer does not have MS Word on it, which is what my teacher wants is e-mailed to him in. So write now I'm writing it up in .txt as a notepad file. I was just wondering if anyone here new somewhere where I could maybe download an application that converts .txt to word files.
Any help would be great, thanks!

Doesn't matter, problem solved. I setup a quick network between my main conp and my ancient laptop, that has word!
Thanks anyways :)

I'm so annoyed with people who thinks that Word is a standard.

huh? open office is open-source. microsoft office has certain programs in its suite. open office has the same programs microsoft offers, but open-sourced (free).
it's not an MS clone. you would like to think that way, but it's not a clone. just as BHD is not a clone of saving private ryan because they are both war movies. open-office is in its own territory.

DUH!
Artificial exoskeletons? :)

haiw: openoffice is actually BETTER than MS office. and it is 100% legal. and it's opensourced. that's why you wouldn't dl ms office.

The requirement for submitted documents to be in Word is getting more common, I have started to distribute documents in .pdf and only give them Word if they really insist, family and friends get everything in .cwk or .rtf.
