This was in the local paper today.

NORTH CASTLE — For the second time in a little over a week, state police have stopped an intoxicated driver after clocking him doing 124 mph on Interstate 684.
"Our troopers thought a single-engine plane from the Westchester County Airport was landing," Sgt. Joseph Lutz of the Somers barracks said today.
Troopers were on patrol Sunday around 1:20 a.m. when they clocked William L. Wallace, 24, of Bedford Hills at 124 mph as he drove north in his 2002 Nissan Maxima, police said. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 14 in North Castle Court to answer charges of driving while intoxicated, refusing to submit to a breath test, misdemeanors, and speeding, a violation.

On Jan 11 around 2:35 a.m., a trooper was running radar on I-684 in Bedford when he clocked a 2005 Nissan doing 124 mph while driving north. The driver of that car, John Garland, 21, of Somers, was also charged with DWI and speeding. He is scheduled to appear Feb. 9 in Bedford Town Court.

It was two different people in the same week. Don't know what the fine is.
