How wonderful it is to live a free country such as the US. These people who throw terms out like, "Bush is the American Taliban" have absouletly no clue.

American Taliban? So President Bush has ordered the military to beat women in the streets if they violate dress codes? These same women will be stoned to death if they work or go to school. Speak out against the government and you end up in the soccer field for target practice.

The left has a wonderful way of throwing words around like facist, Nazi, etc. without truly understanding the most recent of history.

I would love to be able to set the "way back machine" and bring them to Nazi Germany or Stalinist Russia or any of the other truly harsh regimes that have existed and let them see the difference.

What they probly mean is the religious views sported (if or if not he has these I do not know) by him and/or others that really aren't far from the extreme views of the taliban ex, no abortions, evolution is a lie, prayer can heal anything, and so on.

You don't actually have to blow things up to qualify as a religious extremist.

But the primary difference is President Bush espouses his religious views yet doesn't force these views on the people of the country on pain of death. "What?!? You didn't pray five times today?!? LEVEL THE VILLAGE!"

I find it quite funny that the left tries to paint President Bush as some religous wacko, yet around election time all good democrats seem to find religion and go to great lengths to have photo ops on Sunday mornings at some rural church to show how truly religious they are.
