Windows XP question

I want to format my hard drive. Ive never done it with Windows XP installed. How the hell do you get to DOS? or Is there a different way to do it with XP? I dont know a lot about computers but never had a problem formatting with Windows '98se.

Window XP doesn't use DOS

Put your window XP disk in your CD rom drive
Select your CD rom drive as your boot drive from the BIOS
Follow instructions

You're done

Note: make sure you format your hard drive by select NTFS, not NTFS(QUICK)
