What now?
IMO with this concession by Iran, (and not to mention their ability to boost world fuel prices) there's little chance of a successful UN security council referral.
And in my $.000001 ; it doesn't make much difference where the uranium's enriched. As long as they've got reactor(s) and a supply, they'll
be able to make their nuke. I mean, should they want to..... p-)

I hope this will ease off tensions about Iran intentions if it goes through... This is what the US/EU were in favor too, no war for you *yet*.

US warns India over Iran stance

India wants to use nuclear power to meet its energy needs
Washington has warned India a landmark deal giving it US nuclear technology may fall through if Delhi does not back a UN motion against Iran.
Going to be very interesting to see India's response. IMO, they may as well
vote with the U.S. since China and Russia are sure to veto the motion anyway.

Uhm, India doesn't have veto power anyway. Doesn't matter how they vote, as long as Russia and China side with Iran.
Hopefully, this can bring the situation with Iran to a resolution, and allow them to get on with a peaceful nuclear energy program.

there are other members of the security council. it takes a majority to pass a resolution. as long as you have that majority and don't have one of the perm members veto it, it passes.
Hopefully, this can bring the situation with Iran to a resolution, and allow them to get on with a peaceful nuclear energy program.
but what will people with 'bomb iran now!' do with their time? ;-)

China's spoken. No UN sanctions.
And, with both Russia and China opposing western initiatives to put pressure on Iran, there's not much likelyhood of a 'coalition approach.' IMO.
What now?
As we all know, the media announcments are only the tip of the iceberg concerning international politics. Wonder what they're saying behind closed doors? My guess ; Russia and China to U.S. and EU, "Go ahead and bomb Iran,
we're looking forward to being the sole market for Iranian oil. We'll even sell some back to you!!."
