Bates 129...worth the buy.

Hi, I was just wondering if I should invest in a pair of Bates 129 boots. Does anyone have a pair and what do you think? Or should I just buy Bellevilles. I take it that these boots are hot weather boots.

I own a pair of Bates 129 boots in black and love them. Their one (big) downside is their lack of grip in wet weather off road. They're not the boot to get when running a trail or up hills. But they're absolutely fantastic to run in. I've done runs upward of 10 miles in them and they feel just like a running shoe in the sole. Just make sure they fit!
