I already have been to all these sites that give me some information, just not everything I'm looking for. I know Delta has one other name other than what I listed, I'm trying to figure out what.
P.S. I did do all my research from the Net, but I thought this would be much more efficient to ask here before I went off and asked some SF friends about it... They might not tell me though...
Edit: I want to know, because I'm interested. Is education a crime? Last time I checked, it wasn't. There's scattered information out there considering Delta and I wanted to get just one point straight; their names.

that would be the Army SSG Bob, SFC Billy, MSG Frank, SFC George and COL "Sexy Bitch" Kimberley.
...that other kid might fail his book report, because of you, and not recieve the Kudos for his in-sight investigative report, because of this kinda erroneous information. Lol, why is it BS? I really am here in Fayette-Nam (Fayetteville, NC) and I don't like it here compared to all the other places I have lived. But nonetheless, I never wanted to come here, and I still dislike the place. So, 'I'm forced against my will to live here because of the Army' :D

That is great I now have another prereq of acceptance into the ASSDUP Course (Airforce Space Shuttle Door-gunner Universal Program). The previous methods of post launch extraction, prior to exiting the atmosphere (in space there is no terror threat, hence no gunner needed, after all I am no astronaut) includes Glider/HALO/HAHO/HANO/Flubber Shoes and now HAHOHO.

And I wanted to see the reaction by how I worded the sentence :D I'm not ashamed of my father being in the military, he's my idol, and he kicks @$$.

Some of you guys are ****HEADS!
Having spent many years on one of these "teams" that you all covet so much, I can tell you that most of you, with a few exceptions, would not have remained on my team then nor would you remain now. Yes, it is possible to throw someone off a team, I saw it happen twice in A-stan.
Can you guys not show somone some respect in this place. There are twokinds of people in the Army, those with the pointy sticks and those that support those with the pointy sticks. You all act like and claim that you're ex-this and that. I say bull****, if any of you that spout this endless abuse have ever been in any combat unit much less an elite one I will **** a white kitten for you.
I am not writing this so you can answer with your usual blah blah insult filled, childish crap. I'm writing this so that maybe, just one of you will realize that to gain respect you have to first show it.
So, as i've said before: Join, go, comeback, talk ****! Until then, like they taught you in kindergarten, don't run with scissors and BE NICE!

I did ask my dad a few years back when I didn't really care about anything in the military. He told me, and I forgot the name. I ask him now and he won't answer me he always says "I told you before, but you forgot it." And I'm mad cuz he won't tell me anymore because "I'm not supposed to know"... It sucks... And I trust his information because he is in Special Operations. So was wondering if you guys knew the name... If not, I can always try to ask my SF uncle whenever I see him sometime. In answer to the original question, are you looking for the usual open variety like Delta, 1st SFOD-Delta, CAG, etc.? Or are you looking for the equivalent of the ISA names like Robin Court, etc.? Good afternoon, all. TP, nice to see you in a good mood, bud. How's life treating you?
And welcome back shrek. How've you been? Haven't seen you in a few months. Nice to know you're still kicking.
IronHeart- rofl :D
In answer to the original question, are you looking for the usual open variety like Delta, 1st SFOD-Delta, CAG, etc.? Or are you looking for the equivalent of the ISA names like Robin Court, etc.? The first list isn't that long, and the second list isn't actually a list. There are the aforementioned names in public use, and the rest are not in public use, as they should not be, sorry.
Have a good one all, and as always, just some thoughts...
Yeah, I was meaning the non-public ones... And I know they shouldn't be used in public, just wanted to see if anyone could tell :P Well, no use in asking about it I guess, since it's not really supposed to be revealed.

Ok, I've got a question that I've done some research on myself, maybe yall can help!
Question on wartime CQB exam: You’re in a dwelling with three prisoners that are known IED planters and you’re suddenly engaged by a force larger than you can handle from outside the dwelling. You can’t take the prisoners with you and escape safely; How do you respond when asked by your commander on the radio, “what are you going to do with them?”
a. We’re gonna send them out first!
b. Sorry, you’re breaking up!
c. What prisoners?

I'll go for option C ;) sod having to give them some of your rations !!

Shrek,
First you say B in the radio, then do A and when you get back you say C.
Seriously, it would depend on how well the prisoners are secured. Legs/arms bound/zipped, gagged and blindfolded?
If yes, leave them to deal with the immediate threat and return to get them after.
You have to deal with the most serious threat first.
If the prisoners aren't secured...well I won't say anything that goes against the Laws of War.

I can only speak from an LE perspective, but your primary responsibility has got to be to get your own guys out of their safe and sound. The baddies come in a distant second. I'm not going home at the end of the day knowing I have to bury a teammate b/c the life of a terrorist was more important than my friends. I'm certainly not dying for some piece of **** whose very existence I am there to eradicate in the first place.

I've never been in a situation like that but at the end of the day you've got to be able to look yourself in the mirror for the rest of your life. On one hand a possible conviction for war crimes and resulting punishment and on the other letting loose known terrorists, who almost certainly will continue to maim and kill.
No doubt this scenario has been played out in many forms throughout history and i'm not trying to cop out but i reckon each man has to follow his own heart.
However, where i'm from we have a saying;
'what happens in the field stays in the field'
It may seem oversimplistic but its worked up to this point.

OK Zach, lets get something straight.First off,you were banned from a certain forum called the OSW.They thought you'd learn your lesson and stop with the arrogance.Obviously not, because gee whiz, here he is again, still arrogant as ever....Oh and for the origional question, the only one I know of is 1st SFOD(First Special Forces Operational Detachment Delta).
Okay dude, that was gay. The reason I was banned was because I voiced my opinion about DML and how stupid it would be to send in a Marine without a weapon. Jackass. :bash:

Nahh, no war crimes here.
Whoever said to leave them and come back nailed what we did. When we got outside, we found that it wasn’t as big a bunch of assholes as we thought, just a few guys with weapons and a huge cheerleading squad. Mainly the “kids” the we keep accidentally killing over there. Probably because they’re always standing RIGHT NEXT to the assholes.
True story: We were sending a turd to his permanent home and when we left the gate of the compound all the Rangers helping me escort him to the LZ charged their weapons (couldn’t be loaded in the compound). Apparently after 10 hours of interrogation, the turd thought we were going to put one in his grape. According to the terp who was with us, the guy started spouting names and locations faster than he could memorize them. HA

I'm not second guessing your teams actions on the mission you mentioned and I am not saying what ya'll did was wrong. I have no idea what your mission profile looked like and I was not at your AAR. My call as a TL would have been to send out the EPWs as "wind dummies". If they got fired up by over-zelous bad-guys, well too bad. Not only would you not have the potential for these guys escaping and becoming repeat offenders, you might get a reverse recon by fire. As far as ROE justification goes, the answers are all about what can be proved and what you can live with. IED makers are not part of a recognized milita and do not officially garner EPW treatment, My statement might have gone something like " Due to a lack of evidence, I released the subjects in an attempt to prevent them from being un-duly harmed upon contact w/ the enemy. After advising the subjects to seek cover, I was witness; along w/ (fill in the blank) to the murder of said subjects as they attempted to join the enemy force, etc,etc......." Well, regardless of the method, ya'll Charlie Miked and completed the mission and thats the important part. Sorry for the book...to much coca-cola.

Our AAR looked more like:
Official version: We were securing the prisoners when we heard and experienced gunfire from outside and to the South of the dwelling. Having all prisoners secured we moved to defensive positions and radioed (Unsecured FM) to see what the situation was for the remainder of the team providing security outside of the dwelling. They responded with; “enemy sighted, too many to handle with available resources, have called for QRF, move outside and assist if possible!” We then left the prisoners, blind and tied, in the dwelling and moved outside in a 2-1 fashion to assist in the firefight. We soon found that the size of the enemy force had been misjudged and upon seeing and experiencing the fire from our side, they soon fled to the safety of the surrounding hills.
Unofficial version: We were puttin’ too-small-for-their-head sandbags on these assholes when somebody opened up outside. We put the MF’s on their faces and told the terp to tell them “they move, they die” and got on the radio with a “what the f..k”. Highpockets said” there’s a bunch of haji’s out here in the wadi firin’ us up. Get the f..k out here damnit. We piled out of the door and got behind the fire pit and started wearin’ that Wadi out. They stopped shootin’ and we decided that they had had enough. The wind-up-killers oh, sorry, Rangers showed up about 35 minutes later and were pissed that they couldn’t find anybody.

Is ISA still currently known as Grey Fox or has it changed cover names since Iraqi Freedom? And also is it Gray Fox or Grey Fox? I'm assuming the media has gotten these two confused because there's probably not a lot of written documents availible about them, considering their like uh pretty secret and all...
Anyone know all the names of Delta Force? Like CAG, SFODD, etc.
I wanna know all the names of the elite force woot
EDIT: I'm not looking for names of people as some of you are posting for fun, but I mean the Delta Force organization itself in the military...
