They're a lot better than Magnums, but they're still more sneakerish than any other (all leather) military boot.

They squeak on wet floors. They slip on ice. The treads wear faster than many other boots. They hold water when they get wet.

But they're comfortable, and decent boots for some purposes.

VERY squeaky and VERY slippery on wet floors. The black leather ones get extremely hot (hotter than normal black leather boots) in a hot, sunny environment.
On the good side, as pointed out, they're very comfortable outdoors and the thick sole is good for walking over rough terrain.

The boots are great the only problem is when those get wet it take a few days to dry. Expensive but worht it.

Dangerously slippery on wet ground and wear out fast on active duty.
