Is there anyone who has links for a site that can show me this. The site should have pics showing the phase step by step.
(and maybe videoclips, or am I asking for something impossible?)
don't concentrate a color somewhere. a black face is as stupid as black eyes. try to cover the form of your face and don't forget ears and throat. there is no step by step and also no perfect painting. just wild.

I heard that darker colors go on the higher reflection areas of your face. Forehead, cheeks, chin, etc. and lighter colors where there are more natural shadows....making your face appear almost two-demensional.
I agree with AXl...dont forget the neck, behind the ears, etc.

don't forget that the major point of is to break up the outline of your
face so don't have any shape that represents your facial feature shape.
I have seens some doing black around mouth, nose, ear etc. and
green rest.
come on, even Swedish princess did better cammie job on her face.

...Here's some advice:
1. Don't try to look like a poster-boy! Proper cammie paint doesn't look pretty!
2. Getting camied up should only take about 5 mins.
3.Lay down a full GREEN base....making sure to cover EVERYTHING Front and Back.
4. Then put Dark in the Light and Light in the Dark.
5. When EVERYTHING IS COVERED....Take your hands, spread your fingers, and run them down once or twice.
6. Have your buddy (unless you just enjoy playing dress-up alone) check you over.
7. If you dont have gloves, make sure you cammie your hands as well.........
..........Remember that BLACK is not a natural color so dont go heavy with black when getting cammied up......or when you buy ur personal gear.

When using war paint, the major point is to blend in with your natural surroundings. If you are in a vegatation environment, then this is the SOP for war paint.
In the two tone combination, just like many have written, the darker tone goes on the shiny areas of the face: nose, forehead, ears, chin and cheekbones. Conversely the lighter tones go on the eye sockets, under nose, under mouth and above the tip of the chin. Furthermore, and this is very important, apply the camo stick in a irregular vertical manner, NO--DO NOT GO WILD, since most objects in a forrest/jungle do not grow horizontal. Also, there's the "three to four finger rule" and that means if an area of the face is cover by a single tone three to four fingers wide then another tone is needed to break up the area. That's all there's to face paint.

Heres an Image/Text to add to Beowulf's exellent URL:

Exposed skin reflects light and may draw the enemy's attention. Even very dark skin, because of its natural oil, will reflect light. Use the following methods when applying camouflage face paint to camouflage the skin.
When applying camouflage stick to your skin, work with a buddy (in pairs) and help each other. Apply a two-color combination of camouflage stick in an irregular pattern. Paint shiny areas (forehead, cheekbones, nose, ears, and chin) with a dark color. Paint shadow areas (around the eyes, under the nose, and under the chin) with a light color. In addition to the face, paint the exposed skin on the back of the neck, arms, and hands. Palms of hands are not normally camouflaged if arm-and-hand signals are to be used. Remove all jewelry to further reduce shine or reflection.
When camouflage sticks are not issued, use burnt cork, bark, charcoal, lamp black, or light-colored mud.

ok heres' the short version: look in a mirror: certain areas :eye sockets, under nose, chin are dark, so use a lighter color there(light green). the bright areas: forehead, cheek, etc...use a darker color(dark green or brown). then choose a 3rd color(black or dark green work best) and draw streaks across your face. bam, youre invisible.
how many colors you carry around? we had normally a cork that we lit...makes a stinky black. sometimes also army delivered black. some an additional green. but lighter green or whatever...never had a mirror in the field too. just think aboz what breacher wrote, it doesn't look pretty.
