I went in 2002. I got to stay at the Holiday Inn with the river behind it.
Anyways, London is a pretty sweet city. Go check out Buckingham Palace. Go check out the six story mall. Check out the nice asses on the hot British girls.

well london is a pretty expensive place for tourists, and theres a lot of twats, my advice is stick to the touristy spots if thats what your into and your not likely to get jumped by a group of youths, maybe pickpocketed by an albanian immegrant, but no rudeboy groups round there really.

proof if any was needed you've been to the elephant and castle, its so bad now the security have been given overt body armor vests (mind you there a crap burgundy colour) and from time to time SO19 do random armed checks in the area
Been there twice even. (don't ask me why) I'm surprised I didn't got mugged.
Nothing Hill is pretty nice. Those coloury houses cost a fortune, do they come with golden furniture or what?

Considering London is so goddamn expensive and you just stay 3 days better get a 350€ ticket and stay in NY for a week. You get more for your money there. I know London is so close, but i rather spend my money on a bigger, longer trip. And if you're going on a shopping spree you're definitely better off elsewhere.
Just my opinion - anyway have fun, don't 'waste' the time with your girlfriend in the hotelroom. ;-)

Never been a drinker, but if you're looking for atmosphere, then you need to be down by the river in Richmond this summer. Plenty of tottie to oogle at down there.
Actually there was a good pub outside of Weybridge towards Sudbury or Sunbury(can't remember which it's been so long) down by a river that was wicked, again, this was more of a summer pub but it's alright even if I was only drinking orange juice.

Nah, I was supposed to be working at a trade show in Paris, anyway, the guys from the shop were supposed to meet me at Charles De Gaul as the trade show was in Porte de Versaille. I arrived at 11pm, noone there so I made my own way South, I know pigeon French and this didn't do me a lick of good when I called the hotel.
I found our stand at the show, and slept or tried to under a table, constantly thinking I would be gangraped by the men that were working on other stands.
It turned out to be quite the adventure, and I felt a little like Tin Tin without Snowy.

No,I didn't know too many people round that way apart from a couple of birds that worked on Newburgh St, one worked for John Richmond, the other Dispencery(sp) and a few girls that used to work in the stocking shop that was next door to us.
Apart from that, I actually spent most of my time in Barnes, the bottom of Roehampton Lane to be exact, that was where my bird used to live.
One thing to keep in mind though, this is going back to 94/95 and the shop closed during that time and moved out to the Old Jewish Market.

yes thinking about it would be a long time before you like 88-90 yes it was long before they tore the heart out
At that point, I was a South Bank Local, I used to spend most my weekends over that side of the river, skating my little heart out.
I remember in the early 80s there was a building that is now Boots, or was in the mid 90s that used to be.........well.......almost apocalyptic looking, it was bizarre this is going back to 83-84 when I 13.

UK HAS TOLD THE AMBASSOR OF SWEDEN TO FULLFIL THE RIGHTS OF HUMAN RIGHTNESS.
Tony Blair was concerned and the next day he told the swede "Heukström, you have to think this over, we ain't not going to a point-even on this topic".
The next day, the swedish ambassor fell off a gigantic GORILLA-Statue.
End of the story: If you wish to change, you have to CHANGE.
