I saw a small clip of these guys in all black bdus',as always the assumption is CAG/DEVGRU,but has anyone got any piccies of these uni's,I too am a Ghost recon Modder and these guys looked like US Fedayeen in their all black get up!!!!
It wasnt Delta or DEVGRU, but a new elite Tier 1 Coast Guard unit dubbed "Seagulls" and are very similar to DEVGRU. Not much is known about this super secret unit but I will report back if I find anything else. rofl

I think it was the "Ghost Recon Modder" part that sent this whole thread downhill.

Why?I know several modders and weapon makers who post here?
Is it because it's agame or what?Or is it just not the same as playing at soldiers using airsoft, being SF wannabes?
Its a hobby of mine,I work with 3dmax,and photoshop, and it keeps me from being an alchaholic!!
What a very strange reaction to a genuine question, there's no pictures as of yet,I thought it was srange to see these guys all in black in a temperate climate!!
How does that question put the thread downhill?
I was just kidding around with ya dude, no offense intended
Given their bodyguard abilities, one could assume it would be the Dreaded D assigned to protect Rummie. Nobody will really know for sure though. I have not seen any images of these guys but if anybody has some I'd also like to see.

None taken Semper,
I just wasn't sure whether you were having a laugh or not, thought maybe you'd had a beer or 10!!And were at the wind up?
So who call the shots when it comes to Tier 1 CPD,is it worked on a rotational deployment,or do the top guns have their pick as to whom provides this duty?
Not totally sure but for instance with the protection of the Afghan Interim President, Karzai, Delta were the first bodyguards and later was turned over to DEVGRU. This does not necessarily say that the latter is not as good though. I believe Marines do most of the security there now but I am sure there are other units or hired folks that do bodyguard work for important officials as well. I think it is a good bet that you will see similar pictures once new leaders of Iraq are determined in the months ahead.

Normally the Secretary of Defense's body guards (known as a Protective Security Detail, or PSD) are Special Agents ( either civilians or Military Police) drawn from the US Army's Criminal Investigations Division Command (CIDC) on Ft. Belvoir, VA. They also provide personnel for the Secretary of the Army's PSD, and body guards for other high profile Dept. of the Army personnel.
In special cases (when operating in very high risk areas) Army SOF personnel are used.

Way to go Dominique. I was wondering if anyone was gonna say something other than CAG/DEVGRP. You are correct on it not being CAG/DEVGRP. I think it may be DOD security guys as well. I saw them wearing black assault gear once on a Discovery special. Are you in the Armed Forces? If so where?

Dude no way, SEALs do everything don't you watch movies?!
There is no army, navy, air force, or marine corps. We just send in 3 SEALs and they kill everyone with their super-top-secret mind powers and their ability to act like jackasses to everyone they work with.
Then hollywood film crews go in and create a war for mass consumption. Don't you know anything.....
