They added this Photo of a french pig imitation Contest that was completely unrelated, showing it to middle east clerics. That proofs how this all was made up and faked by the danish muslim community...

No it isnt, but it was presented by the danish delegation to muslim clerics to underline the "anti muslim rhetoric" in danmark.

Absolutely no Joke.

The Danish cartoonists did 12 images but more than 12 images were shown to the Islamic nations by a delegation of muslims who went around to rally support against the Danes.

This is how the pig photo appeared in the muslim report about the cartoons:

CNS News (http://www.cnsnews.com/news/viewstory.asp?Page=%5CForeignBureaus%5Carchive%5C200602%5CFOR20060202b.html)

A delegation of Danish Muslims, evidently frustrated by their inability to win apologies from the newspaper or intervention from the government in Copenhagen, traveled to Arab capitals late last year to raise awareness of the issue.

They took with them a 43-page dossier containing the 12 Jyllands-Posten cartoons, but also three other sketches that were not among those published. One depicted Mohammed as a pig and the other two were of a ****** nature.

A Danish tabloid last month quoted the delegation head, Akhmad Akkari, as saying the three, which had been received anonymously by Danish Muslims, were included in the dossier to show the level of anti-Muslim sentiment in Denmark.

It was also reported that the delegation may have given the impression, intentionally or otherwise, that Jyllands-Posten was owned or controlled by the government.

In a series of questions and answers on its website the Danish foreign ministry makes clear repeatedly that the newspaper has no links to the government.

It also stresses that no picture showing Mohammed as a pig had been published by any Danish newspaper.

Fabricated cartoons worsened Danish controversy

The controversy over the publication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed is expanding, as more Muslims join the boycott and protests against Denmark and various European newspapers (http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2006/02/02/wcart02.xml&sSheet=/news/2006/02/02/ixnewstop.html)decide to publish the cartoons, mostly out of solidarity with Jyllands Posten and to make a strong political stand.

One issue that puzzles many Danes is the timing of this outburst. The cartoons were published in September: Why have the protests erupted from Muslims worldwide only now?

The person who knows the answer to this question is Ahmed Abdel Rahman Abu Laban, a man that the Washington Post has recently profiled as “one of Denmark's most prominent imams (http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2005/08/28/AR2005082800899_pf.html).”

Last November, Abu Laban, a 60-year-old Palestinian who had served as translator and assistant to top Gamaa Islamiya leader Talaal Fouad Qassimy during the mid-1990s and has been connected by Danish intelligence to other Islamists operating in the country, put together a delegation that traveled to the Middle East to discuss the issue of the cartoons with senior officials and prominent Islamic scholars.

The delegation met with Arab League Secretary Amr Moussa, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar Sheikh Mohammad Sayyed Tantawi, and Sunni Islam’s most influential scholar, Yusuf al Qaradawi. "We want to internationalize this issue so that the Danish government will realize that the cartoons were insulting, not only to Muslims in Denmark, but also to Muslims worldwide," said Abu Laban (http://islamonline.net/English/News/2005-11/18/article02.shtml).

On its face, it would appear as if nothing were wrong.

However, the Danish Muslim delegation showed much more than the 12 cartoons published by Jyllands Posten. In the booklet it presented during its tour of the Middle East, the delegation included other cartoons of Mohammed that were highly offensive, including one where the Prophet has a pig face.

But these additional pictures were NOT published by the newspaper, but were completely fabricated by the delegation and inserted in the booklet (which has been obtained and made available to me by Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet).

The delegation has claimed that the differentiation was made to their interlocutors, even though the claim has not been independently verified. In any case, the action was a deliberate malicious and irresponsible deed carried out by a notorious Islamist who in another situation had said that “mockery against Mohamed deserves death penalty.”

And in a quintessential exercise in taqiya, Abu Laban has praised the boycott of Danish goods on al Jazeera, while condemning it on Danish TV.

first of all, the "pig" pic, is a photograph and not a cartoon.

Muslims consider dogs unclean as well. Are they going to tell me I cannot keep a dog on the grounds that it offends their religious sensibilities?

Where do we draw the line?

What about people with Red hair?

They are forbidden from entering Saudi Arabia because Mr. Mohammed (pbuh) had red hair.

Indeed they do,that's why they get the **** kicked out of them in Iraq, and shot, there are so many ferral dogs now, that many are rabid, yet in Kuwait I seen plenty of Muslim owners with their Rottweilers,German Shepards, and Dobermans........odly enough there are Iraqi K9 teams working in Iraq........I'm not sure but I think that dogs whilst they consider unlclean, are not allowed into the actual dwellings,IIRC the RMP's down South just after the Ground war, were using K9's,and they wondered why the house owners were going ballistic because the dogs were in the house, which is against their beliefs,I guess it depends on where you go?

The Cartoon Hoax

From the desk of Paul Belien (http://www.brusselsjournal.com/paulbelien) on Tue, 2006-02-07 18:51

Radical Danish imams have deliberately incited hatred against Denmark, the country that had hospitably welcomed them in. To this end, while on a visit to Arab countries last month, they added three false, extremely offensive Muhammad “cartoons” to the twelve relatively mild ones published by Jyllands-Posten last September [see the latter here, halfway down the page (http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/698)].

One of the three additional cartoons [we linked to them in this article (http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/668)], which the imams distributed on a faxed image of appalling quality, was said to be a depiction of Muhammad with a pigsnout.

When the Danish press discovered the three false so-called Danish cartoons, the imams refused to say where they had got them. They claimed, however, that the false cartoons were genuinely Danish and had been added to “give an insight in how hateful the atmosphere in Denmark is towards Muslims.”

The Brussels Journal has always doubted whether the cartoons added by the imams were genuine. Whenever we mentioned them we explicitly wondered whether they were not “of the imam’s own making (http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/756).”

Certain Western mainstream media, however, such as the Australian network SBS (http://www.brusselsjournal.com/node/735) (and even, we have been told, the BBC) authoritatively declared that the pigsnout was one of Jyllands-Posten’s cartoons.

Yesterday an American blogger (http://www.neandernews.com/?p=54) discovered where the “pigsnout Muhammad” comes from. It has no relation to Muhammad whatsoever, it is not even a cartoon, but a fax image of a photo of a French clown performing at a pig festival.

If this is true, those Imams should be punished and then sent back to their places of origin. They were welcomed in Denmark and could live their lives under good conditions. But they chose to turn against their host country. It is high time for all European countries to scan the Muslim people in order to seperate the (few) bad apples from the descent law abiding ones.

Best part -- the muslim population (for the msot part) will never hear, let alond know, check into, or beleive that the most offensive ones are fake.

All the more reason the west needs to pry into the Muslim world economically (not so much militarily) -- as that is how the US can actually win the GWOT -- fix the economies to where they themselves are free (Read Milton Freidman)
