It's the second police intervention group in France

It has been created in 1985(the first is the G.I.P.N. Groupe d'Intervention de la Police Nationale created in 1973)

They are mainly focusing on terrorism

So no, they are not Czech nor Brazilian, on the backround of the first pic series you can see the structure of the Eiffel Tower
