What does the K-9 things means? something about "canine" is latin for dog?

If soldiers from f.ex Britain does a minor crime (like beating up other soldiers)in an foreign country, do they get any punishment for it?

What is the purpose of giving a criminal 4-5 life sentences in prison when a human only lives max 100 years?

Thanks in advance

1. K-9 usually refers to police/law enforcement units that use dogs.

2. I cannot speak to UK policies, but American soldiers are governed by the UCMJ, and usually punished according to the articles therein.

3. AFAIK, no reason really other than just following the letter of the law.

k-9 is simply a short designation for dogs used by military and police. An acronym for canine. Correct.

There are military prisons for soldiers that commit crimes while in the service.

Concurrent life sentences are given because there is a sentence for every conviction, in the case of multiple murder they are given a life sentence for each victim. Hank I'm sure could give you a much better explanation than i could....
