WHat is the source of those pics? How come the German column needs Apache support?

How come the pics are all German???
Your post is ISAF....so wouldnt it make sense if there were some pics of Brits and Canucks???

Was this a HMMWV at one point? It just strikes me that it seems to have certain similar stylings.

It also seems that the turret of the vehicle pictured above is designed to be fired from within the vehicle itself - could be wrong though.

As far as I know the pictures are from a -surprise- German ISAF soldier who came home just recently.
I'm confident of more pictures to come.

That's a MOWAG Eagle reconnaissance vehicle and is based on a Hummer. Built in Switzerland by MOWAG.

The new Eagle IV looks even better, but isn't based on the Hummer but on the MOWAG DURO.

Those German Dingos are now also built in the states. I assume they will be bought by the US forces soon. These vehicles are especially designed to withstand mines or large surface explosions.
